We regret in conveying to you the sad news. R. W. Bro. Pratap Chand Jain of Ajmer (Rajasthan), the oldest mason in the entire country has been called to Grand Lodge above on 8th Februray 2009 at Ajmer.

R.W.Bro. Pratap Chand Jain past deputy grand master in Craft, past 2nd grand principal in Chapter, past assistant grand master in Mark and sramgo was given 50 years lts jewels in Craft, Chapter and Mark.

R.W.Bro.Pratap Chand Jain would have celeberated his 104th birthday this year on 9th of july. Having lived for 103 years and 9 months, he was the oldest freemason in the country.

A very dedicated and loving man, a friendly person and certainly a committed and devoted freemason, he by his exemplary character and behaviour always motivated his officers and the brethren to practice and demonstrate the distinguishing virtues of freemasonry. . We certainly have lost o doyan of freemasonry.

We pray to the GAOTU that his soul may rest in eternal peace and to grant enough strength and courage to the members of the bereaved family.
